The
Dynamic Data Acquisition System (DDAS) was designed for use during
Research and Development (R & D) testing of rotating machinery including
gas turbine engines. Acquisition rates of 100,000 samples per second
combined with a 22 bit resolution provide reliable and accurate
data to monitor all dynamic parameters such as stress/strain, vibration
and dynamic pressure.
The DDAS can
be configured with 8, 16, 32 or 64 channels and have full monitoring,
logging and processing capability to allow for detailed investigations
either on-line or through post-processing. Because of the cost-effective
and powerful architecture, the 8 channel systems can be used for
vibration analysis during production or overhaul of gas turbine
engines. These 8 channel systems provide broadband, tracked and
band-pass signals to a main data acquisition system using standard
protocols.
